"Clean Air" Regulations By November 2005
Trucks buses and heavy engineering units will shortly be having to re-vamp their thinking for the protection of the environment, time is running out. Legislation will climb on the political agenda. FSO is working towards new units all the time to clean up exhaust emissions, on land and sea. Chinese and Asian markets are being developed to this end. FSO has lately bought out 2 more designs on the FS4 and FS4L units. These are working well in S. America in the mining camps on trains and large 25o ton dumper trucks. Good progress is being made on all fronts

Introduction of New Model FS4L
This unit has been made especially for the gap between 450hp and 2000hp on heavy diesel engines, this comes with 3 of our newly established "in tank" units, as previously referred to. It is significant to bear in mind that smoke in diesels is greatly reduced, which is important because of the present MOT regulations world wide, and also because of emission checks. 10% fuelsaving is achieved in most cases and it can easily be seen by testing before and after fitting that emission gases are greatly improved

In-Tank Units
Use these "in tank" units in conjunction with the FS2, FS3 and FS4 units to promote catalyst pre combustion. It is important to remember that the Prozone Catalyst is a true catalyst which causes a reaction, but is always not consumed or affected in the process of altering the volatility of the fuel. This causes the "in tank" units to last for a period of at least 4 years and the tank and fuel should be kept as clean as possible in order to help the "in tank" catalysts. At all times the "in tank" (drop in) units shall be

Prozone Fuelsaver Device Moves into Second Stage
The Prozone Fuelsaver fuel saving device is now moving into a second phase on cleaning the emissions and saving fuel. The increased technology and design that Prozone Fuelsaver now has, makes it possible for our fuel saving device to work on large earthmoving equipment in Peru and Chile in the mining camps, on ferries and also in oil company shipping in the North Sea. Tests have been carried out by one oil company giving a continues fuel saving of 8.9% The same thinking is now being attributed towards ships engines up to tanker size, again for reducing emissions and saving

Impact of Polution in Major Cities
In several cities, the transportation of people, goods and services is done by transport vehicles such as buses and trucks and the amount of SPM (Suspended Particulate Matter) is directly related to the type of maintenance of vehicles and the emissions. In most cities, the emission level (the HSU units) which is an indication of the level of emissions is fixed at 65 units, but, often vehicles are found to have emission levels between 80 HSU to 90 HSU. The following illustrations will indicate the amount of SPM, which can be reduced with the help of pollution control devices. E.G
